Police Under Fire - will they protect our civil liberties?

Andy May is a local party member and went on the G20 demonstrations recently where he witnessed the heavy handed policing that made the national news headlines. Since then he has started up a Facebook group "Defend peaceful protest"; http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=60467068334&ref=ts which has over 2000 members.
Ozcam Keles from the Islington based "Dialogue Society" (DS), a group that orgnises seminars about Islam and other faiths, see http://www.dialoguesociety.org/. He will speak on relations between the police and the Muslim community
Brian Paddick, former Lib Dem candidate for Mayor of London and ex Deputy Assistant Commissioner with the Metropolitan Police. Brian will no doubt answer some of the points made, plus add his perspective as a police officer
